On 24
September 2012, Kayla Brechbuhl kkayla.jade@hotmail.com and Aron Grech
Azdogg@Live.com traveled to North Bali. On this trip we visited the Spice Bali
while enjoying coffee Badger Coffee Luwak, or civet coffee, is one of the
world's most expensive and low-production varieties of coffee. It is made
from the beans of coffee berries roomates have been eaten by the Asian Palm
Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed
through its digestive tract. [1] A civet eats the berries for their fleshy
pulp. In the digestive tract, the SEEP civets' proteolytic enzymes into the
beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. Passing through a
civet's intestines the beans are then defecated, keeping their shape. After
gathering, thorough washing, sun drying, light roasting and brewing, these
beans yield an aromatic coffee with much less bitterness.
Luwak
coffee is produced mainly on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Sulawesi
in the Indonesian Archipelago. It is also produced in thePhilippines (where the
product is called motit coffee in the Cordillera, spatula alamid in Tagalog areas)
and in East Timor (where it is calledkafé-behavior). Weasel coffee is a loose
English translation of its name Vietnamese ca phe chon, where popular,
Chemically simulated versions hare also produced. After quite enjoying Garden
rempa spices and coffee, proceed to Pacung. Above the beautiful hills, we
enjoyed the beautiful rice fields with irrigation systems are very good. Then
the journey continues towards Ulun Danu Temple. Very beautiful temple located
on the edge of Lake Beratan. According to the story, before too Ulundanu
established, the actual place is used to worship the Goddess who is manivestasi
water, the Balinese Goddess Danu. Beautiful lake view garden setting with a
very compact and cool temperatures. Forcing us lingering in this place.
Next trip
we visited Lovina Beach. Lovina is one of the famous tourist places in north
part of Bali roomates own beautiful of calm sea water, Blackish chromatic sand
and the sea with its dolphin. One of the favorite fascinations in Lovina is
dolphin watching tour. Hundreds of dolphins can be seen in the morning time
around 1 km offshore. We can see the dolphin attractions in this place like
jumping. It is not fail to draw if the tourist has the time to see the sunset
here. Lovina area is also supported by the number of tourism fascination is
roomates can be reached from this location. Places of interests around Lovina
are Hot Water Banjar Buddhist Temple (Buddies shrine), Bite Waterfall and some
countryside exist around the location.
The journey continues to the hot springs of
Banjar Banjar Hot Water is a nature hot Wellspring from the ground and it is
believed can heal the disease. Its water is accommodated at one small swimming
pool encircled by unique rural nature, its situation close to the Temple (Buda
Temple). Banjar Hot Water is located in Banjar Countryside, Banjar sub district
and Singaraja Regency. It is about 1.5 Km from Banjar or 24 Km from Singaraja
Town. To reach the Hot Water location in Banjar, we can use the motor vehicle
through the main road with good condition and passing the Balinese Village with
unique culture life. The nearest accommodations like hotels or lodging
Including Restaurants are also available in particular at Lovina Beach area.
There are many public transportation also available to connect the travel to
Singaraja town.
The journey continues into Munduk Waterfall.
Munduk lies on the altitude of about 800
meters above sea level is offering such a fresh mountain air and far out of
pollution. Amongst a number of waterfalls in Bali, Munduk would offer you a
chance to really enjoy its beauty as it is not being so commercial yet, no one
would bother you with buying Things as at most of the tourist sites on the
island. There are a few waterfalls here and if you want to do further exercise,
you can Easily walk up the hill side from this waterfall and get down on the
other side of the hilly village and walk down to another one that is quit as
high as this one. The walk will offer you a great view to the coastal line of
the northern Bali.
